Get behind before the weekend starts!!!

I still have to tally my results from last week but you can assume that I had worse results than a blind man in an archery contest. I might as well dump all of the teams in a hat and pick games that way to get around a 50% win rate. But that's not why you're picking against me, now is it?

Weekend College Football anti-picks:

Missouri -7 @ K-State: Now that I'm betting against them, the sheep-lovers are going to pull out a new strand of barbed wire fence.

Bowling Green pk @ Buffalo: I'm on Willie's BG bandwagon here.

LSU -19.5 @ Ole Miss: LSU wants to maintain their BCS status.

Central Florida -12.5 @ SMU: SMU blows. That is all.

the 'waving wheat' OK State -14 @ Baylor: Baylor sucks at home, on the road, in a waco brothel, wherever...

Louisville +8.5 @ South Florida: Groethe just had a mental meltdown. S Florida may win, but will not cover

Marshall @ Houston -11.5: We... are.... a horrible football team!

Please remember to support your local offshore bookie this weekend!

BCS rankings... I'm sure I'm not alone on this but I just don't get it.... how can Michigan be ranked higher than Wisconsin when Wisconsin just tore up the Wolverines. Sure Michigan pulled out a win over Penn State when Penn State was still ranked and Wisconsin didn't when they weren't... BUT Wisconsin also didn't lose a season opener to App St. I hate how the early season doesn't mean as much as the late season. Both teams are 8-3 going into this weekend and yet Michigan is on top... am I missing something? I guess I'm just bitching because Michigan is still ranked. When they went down, they should have stayed down because they sure kept on sucking. I hope Ohio St. sends them on there way to obscurity (at least for this season... they deserve as much).

I think you're right, but for a different reason. It's hard to rank teams based on who beats common opponents. That said, Michigan is always going to be overrated. Now that the game is over we see this to be true, but you see this with teams like Texas also. Even though they lose to obscure teams such as App St. they seem to sneak back into the top 25 somewhere along the way.
