Throw Away Thursday

Given my sterling NFL record for the season (roughly 40% correct) i think you can just blindly bet against me and show a small profit.

But THIS week i feel really good about these picks! I'm avoiding the trap games! I'm going to bet enough to et caught up! I'm due! I have a new system! Did i miss any sports bettor garbage speak?

Chi -4.5 vs detroit. give me the lions, please, coming off a convincing win vs the awful bears who squeaked one out against a sub par team. games like this make me think i'm reading the line wrong. how is detroit a dog here?

Pitt -3.5 @ Cinci. i think Holly Mangold's team could cover 3.5 on this bengals defense.

Tampa Bay -4 vs Jax. I would like another dog here please. Jacksonville is the UF Gators of the NFL... they are WAY the best 2 loss team in the league. Oh wait, they just lost their starting QB. Who cares! run run run!

NO -3 @ SF. The offense is back for the saints, plus a bunch of people who got flooded out and whose lives are ruined from being dependent on government instead of themselves will be sad if the saints don't get back to winning.

NE -16.5 vs. WAS Ahad, this one's for you. In a HUGE upset, the pats only win by 12 here.

Denver -3 @ GB. Packers... no team that is at least mediocre or better fails to win in the NFL after a bye week. and it's at home. please.

A lot of games, but i like em. the ones i would actually risk play money chips on in a completely for-entertainment, fictitious wagering envioronment are: GB, NO, Det.

CHI (-4.5) at DET - Yes, you are reading it wrong. The game is in Soldier Field. Vasher and Harris probably won't play, but Kitna's been awful, and if he doesn't improve, DET has no chance. Plus, their "convincing" win was at home vs. Tampa, coming off a bye week. Tampa, by the way, doesn't have either of their top two RB, and their #3 guy TORE THE LIONS UP.

PIT -3.5 at CIN - I don't like this game, either way. CIN's been bad, but they're desperate, and still have top tier talent on offense. They're playing their second game at home in a row, where they've only lost to...New England this year. PIT is playing their second game in a row on the road...where they're 1-2 (lost their last two) and only beaten a Frye-led Cleveland team.

TAM -4 at JAX - AGAIN...TAMPA is at home here, not Jacksonville. C'mon now...maybe that's why you're missing all of these games? Short week for Jacksonville, and they got physically used on Monday. They have no QB and are dinged up in a lot of places. Maybe take the unders in this one, but taking the Jags is quite a leap of faith. PS - The Giants and Steelers are probably much better than JAX as far as 2-loss teams go.

NO -3 at SF - I like the Saints, mainly because they're on a roll, and beat a decent SEA team on the road. Their defense is playing much better, and that takes pressure off their offense. SF was playing good defense, but NYG exposed it a bit. SF = bad football team right now.

This is getting ridiculous. The PATRIOTS are at home in this game. I'm not touching that game, nor its spread.

DENVER also at home. C'mon man.

I like the Saints.
I also would check out the Chargers when the NFL finally decides the site. They are playing with some fire now, pun intended...

Oh i get it now. The page I was looking at had the Favorites listed down one side, not the home teams. Corrections to come.
